Congenial Impositions is a collection of abstracts inspired by what I like to call “Chameleon Theory”: Conformity through individuation; fitting in by sticking out.
Each piece is informed by an experience in my life which, somehow or another, helped me to not only find myself but connect with others in so doing. Experiences create moods, as do colors. Both color and mood move through a room with intent. The intention behind Congenial Impositions is to create and permeate specific moods no matter the decor. Whether the palette is shy or garish, these pieces politely insert themselves into any conversation.
